WHY LAS VEGAS, NEW MEXICO?: Large Images

Douglas Avenue, in New Town, Las Vegas, New Mexico.

The south side of Bridge Street early on the first day of the Rough Rider Motorcycle Rally.

Estella's Cafe, a 61-year old family-owned restaurant on Bridge Street across the street from our two downtown properties. Estella's serves the best chile rellenos in the state.

Sanctuary Studios, a renovated red brick church renovated as our personal live/work studio. Yes, in the winter it snows here, but within hours the sun comes out and its like a winter wonderland.

The Carnegie Library in Carnegie Park. See what I mean about the snow followed by sunshine and blue skies?

A very beautifully restored Victorian home in our historic North New Town neighborhood. These Victorian homes were originally built to house Santa Fe Railroad executives with the train station was built.

Plaza Park in front of the Plaza Hotel during the Rough Rider Motorcycle Rally. Bikers roll in from as far away as Canada.

The Casteneda Hotel is a former Harvey House Hotel located adjacent to the railroad tracks and our Amtrak station.

The Simon Pegg Movie Paul was partly shot in the historic downtown area of Las Vegas. Our gallery (127 Bridge Street) was used as a location for Eli's Comics. This photograph is of one of the windows showing a part of the window display and the reflection of Bridge Street.

Some of the photographs on this site, including the image of Eli's Comics above, are available as prints and can be purchased from:
Lascaux Ensemble.
